The best X bookmark managers in 2026

By Chiratna, founder of Zappmark · Updated

For most people who save from several sites, Dewey is the most complete X bookmark manager in 2026. For digests of your X bookmarks, Tweetsmash leads, and for deep reading, Readwise Reader. Zappmark, which we make, is the cheapest paid option built for X posts at $3 a month, and it sorts and resurfaces saves without setup.

How we compared them

We looked at seven tools that people use to keep posts from X (formerly Twitter). For each one we read its own pricing and feature pages on 4 October 2026, and linked them under the table. Where a tool's site doesn't state a fact, the table says "Not stated". Prices are in US dollars as the sites show them.

Zappmark is our product, and it's labelled "ours" in the table. We've tried to say plainly where the others are better.

Dewey: the widest coverage

Dewey syncs your X bookmarks through its browser extension and covers more sites than anything else here: Bluesky, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, Substack and the web. It exports to CSV, PDF and Google Sheets and syncs to Notion. Every plan includes folders, tags and Save Full Thread.

Pro is $10 a month, or $7.50 a month billed yearly. A free plan syncs by hand from one account. Best for: people who save from many platforms and want their data in a spreadsheet. See our Dewey comparison.

Tweetsmash: digests of your bookmarks

Tweetsmash turns your X bookmarks into daily or weekly email digests, scheduled by topic. It imports your history through a Chrome extension, auto-organises by topic and author, and exports to Notion, Google Sheets and Zotero. It also has an MCP server and an AI chat over your bookmarks.

Reader Pass is $7 a month for one X account. Yearly Pass is $99 a year for up to three accounts and adds auto-sync of new bookmarks. Its pricing page notes that X's API only syncs your most recent 800 bookmarks. Best for: reading your bookmarks as a newsletter.

Readwise Reader: for people who read a lot

Readwise imports new X bookmarks once a day by default. You can also reply "@readwise save thread" to a post to save a whole thread, which Reader compiles into one document of the author's posts. Reader also handles articles, PDFs, newsletters, RSS and YouTube, and exports to Notion and Obsidian.

Readwise Full, which includes Reader, is $9.99 a month billed yearly or $12.99 monthly, with a 30-day trial and no free plan. Best for: treating X posts as part of a wider reading habit.

Twillot: a local, X-only library

Twillot is a browser extension that pulls your X bookmarks into a searchable library kept in your browser. It covers likes and your own posts too, exports to CSV, Markdown, PDF and Obsidian, and sends weekly reports on paid plans.

There's a free plan for 100 items, and paid plans start at $2.49 a month. Best for: people who want an export of everything they've bookmarked on X.

mymind: a private, visual mind

mymind saves anything from the web through its browser extensions and mobile share sheet, then tags it with AI. There are no folders by design. Its Serendipity feature brings back things you'd forgotten. It doesn't sync X bookmarks; you save each post yourself.

Plans start at $4.99 a month without AI, and $7.99 a month or $79 a year with it. Best for: people who save images, articles and posts in one calm place.

Raindrop.io: the general bookmark manager

Raindrop.io is a mature bookmark manager for web pages, with collections, tags, apps on every platform and a free plan with unlimited bookmarks. Pro adds full-text search, permanent copies and AI suggestions. It isn't built around X posts: its site doesn't say it saves post text, media or threads.

Its Pro page lists a monthly and a yearly plan but showed no price when we checked. Best for: links and articles more than posts. See our guide to organising X bookmarks.

Zappmark (ours): shoot, sort, resurface

Hold Option on a Mac (Alt on Windows), then click a post on X to save it. AI shelves: new saves are sorted onto shelves (such as Design or Engineering) for you, with no folders to set up.

Search by meaning: search finds a save by what it said, not only by the exact words. Zapback: once you have 5 or more saves, a weekly email on Mondays brings back 3 posts you saved and haven't opened since.

Holding the save key over a post on X: the post is locked and saved to Zappmark.

It's free up to 50 saves; Pro $3 a month or $27 a year. The limits are real: it saves from X only today. There's no self-serve export yet. For a thread, Zappmark stores the first post today, with a link to the rest of the thread on X. Best for: people who save from X and want it sorted and brought back without setup.

Which one should you pick?

  • You save from many platforms and need export: Dewey.
  • You want your bookmarks as a reading digest: Tweetsmash.
  • You read long threads and articles every day: Readwise Reader.
  • You want a one-time export of everything you've bookmarked on X: Twillot.
  • You save images and ideas from everywhere: mymind.
  • You mostly save web pages: Raindrop.io.
  • You save from X and want it sorted for you, for $3 a month: Zappmark.

If you only bookmark a few posts a month, X's own bookmarks may be enough. Our page on X bookmarks vs Zappmark covers what they do and don't do.
